The title “Have a Nice Summer” is in fact the last words I heard from an ex- who had decided to attend graduate school across the country, and was apparently and understandably fed up with “the long distance thing” when I decided to stay put where I was rather than follow suit. These were the words written on the postcard sent in reply to the birthday present I had sent. The rest is pretty self-explanatory. Somewhere there exists a four-track demo on which I play all the instruments, which I will try to dig up and post somewhere.
